Bio

Emily Bashall is a Canadian country singer, songwriter and Nashville recording artist from Kingston Ontario. She began her career in 2016 when she recorded her debut EP ‘Up on the Hill’ featuring musicians who had worked with artists such as Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum and Randy Travis.  Following her radio tour to the East Coast of Canada she was featured in the January 2017 issue of Kingston Live Magazine.

Emily’s earliest memory of being interested in music was when she was three singing into a purple karaoke microphone and playing an orange plastic guitar she had gotten for Christmas. She received her first real guitar at the age of 13 and quickly developed a strong connection to country music. She began writing as she drew inspiration from Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride among many others.

Although her professional career didn’t happen until much later, she always found herself inadvertently surrounded my music.

Emily is releasing her new single 'Breaking Bad Habits' June 10th 2019
